Flanagan & Gerard identified this region as having great potential for a new dominant regional shopping centre. They identified a site owned by the Emfuleni Local Municipality at the intersection of the Golden Highway and Barrage Roads, Vanderbijlpark.  After due consideration and study and consultation with the major retailers, Flanagan &Gerard decided that this site was best positioned to be the regional for the Vaal.  They then approached the council and had to win the site in a fiercely competitive tender against other developers.

The centre is located at the intersection of the Golden Highway and Barrage Road, Vanderbijlpark, the major intersection within the entire region.  Access from the entire trade area is by means of these two roads and Rossini Boulevard, all double carriageway arterials.  All major concentrations of shoppers are within a 5 to 10 minute drive.

Directions:

From the N1 south, take the Vanderbijl Park offramp.  Follow this road over a couple of stop streets and traffic lights.  Turn left on the R42 to Vereeniging.  The shopping centre is located a the next intersection on the right.

From the R59 south, follow this road. It will change into the R42 to Vanderbijl Park and Parys.  Pass the Bedworth Park Pick n Pay Hypermarket on the left.  Follow this road over a few more traffic lights.  The centre is situated on the left hand side, on the corner of Rossini Boulevard.
